Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) provided trainings to police and army personnel in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Palestine, Kosovo, Montenegro, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Tunisia, Moldova, and Afghanistan.
TİKA continues to transfer Turkey's experience in the security field. In this respect, in-service and practical trainings have been provided for the exchange of experience among members of the police and gendarmerie, mutual awareness raising in the fight against crime, and unity in the terminology of transnational police/military organizations.
Within the scope of the "International Police/Security Training Cooperation Project" jointly carried out by TİKA, the General Directorate of Security, and the Gendarmerie General Command, training programs were organized for 191 soldiers and police officers from the police force and gendarmerie of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Palestine, Kosovo, Montenegro, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Tunisia, Moldova, and Afghanistan.
As part of the program, in-service and practical trainings were provided for the exchange of experience among members of the police and gendarmerie, mutual awareness raising in the fight against crime, and unity in the terminology of transnational police and military organizations. Throughout the program, trainings were provided on the following topics: emergency response, immediate decision-making, residential areas, building, and vehicle operations, inspection of mobile devices, technical information about mobile phones, crime scene investigation, evaluation and assessment, operation planning, the protection of sensitive points, close protection, residence protection, facility protection, pedestrian and vehicle protection schemes, advanced shooting techniques, fast gun use, short and medium-range gun use, neutralizing the attacker, first aid, advanced and safe driving training and the detection of bombs, weapons, and explosives, crime-related information collection, crime analysis, diver training, underwater physics, physiology, underwater criminal training, search and rescue techniques, safe diving, surveillance techniques, and the fight against drugs.
