TİKA's Ramadan Present to Orphaned Children in Paraguay

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) distributed clothes, food and hygiene supplies as Ramadan presents to the needy families and orphaned children in Paraguay in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Asunción.

The clothes, which were procured by TİKA, were gifted to the children taking shelter in the Nemity Center Of Pedagogy at a ceremony attended by Serhat Aksen, Ambassador of Turkey in Asunción, and Teresa Martinez, Minister for Children and Adolescents of Paraguay.

Martinez thanked Turkey and TİKA for the clothing aid provided for 99 kids at the center.

Ambassador Aksen, on the other hand, stated that the Eid al-Fitr and the Paraguay Independence Day coincided this year, and he informed the children about Ramadan and Eid.

Within the scope of the Erenler Sofrası program, which was initiated in Paraguay by TİKA, 300 families had been provided food and hygiene packages.

The officials from the Islamic Cultural Charity Center in Asunción expressed their gratitude towards Turkey for the distribution of food and hygiene packages at the center.
