Turkey Is Sharing Its Experience in Security with Friendly Countries

Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) held the “Training of Trainers on the Fight against Smuggling and Organized Crimes” and the “Training on Drug Types, Current Routes, and Trends” for Tunisian and Moldovan law enforcement officers as part of the “International Police Training Project,” implemented by TİKA and the General Directorate of Security of the Republic of Turkey.

As part of the “International Police Training Cooperation Project,” implemented by TİKA and the General Directorate of Security of the Republic of Turkey, the “Training of Trainers on the Fight against Smuggling and Organized Crimes” was held in Tunisia for 16 officers from the Tunisian National Police Corps from November 1 to 5, 2021.

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the training, Brigadier General Fauzi Bugerra stressed the importance of the ongoing cooperation between Tunisia and Turkey in every field and noted that the training programs organized for law enforcement officers were an important part of this cooperation. Bugerra thanked TİKA, stating that the participants were very experienced and that he believed mutual exchange of experience would be beneficial for both parties.

Drug Training for Officers from the General Police Inspectorate of Moldova

As part of the same project, the “Training on Drug Types, Current Routes, and Trends” was held for law enforcement officers in Moldova. 18 officers from the General Police Inspectorate of Moldova attended the training, which was held in Moldova from November 15 to 19, 2021.
