20 June 2022“Advanced Multimedia Techniques” Training to Azerbaijani Journalists
Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) had a cooperation to give “Advanced Multimedia Techniques” training to journalists coming from our brother country, Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani journalists were given a training on “Advanced Multimedia Techniques” through the cooperation of TİKA and TRT. At the end of the training, a closing ceremony was held. Reşad Memmedov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Türkiye, Rahman Nurdun, the Vice President of TİKA, Fethi Fayri Kaya, Assistant General Manager of TRT and Azerbaijani journalists attended the ceremony. Six journalists have already completed a basic training in Baku. This training was given by the experienced TRT staff. These six journalists then came to Türkiye for the next step and received the advanced training on multimedia techniques in TRT’s Ankara studios.
“The brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan is a model”
Reşad Memmedov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Türkiye gave a speech at the closing ceremony and said, “The brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan is a model. We are further strengthening our bonds through such trainings. On this occasion, we would like to thank TİKA, TRT and AzTv”. Kaya, Assistant General Manager of TRT mentioned the importance of journalism and said, “We observed the importance of journalism in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue once more. Azerbaijan’s rightful fight was introduced to the whole world through the press.”
“More than 700 press members were given trainings”
Nurdun, the Vice President of TİKA also gave a speech at the ceremony and informed the attendants about the media trainings. Nurdun said, “We have been in cooperation with TRT since 2017 and given trainings to more than 700 press members in diverse countries, among which Azerbaijan has had the highest number of participants. Besides, we have given a special embedded journalism training in Azerbaijan with the cooperation of Anadolu Agency.” At the end of the training, the Azerbaijani journalists who completed their trainings were given certificates.
