27 February 2023The Turkish Medical Team Has Healed Patients in Chad
The medical team who traveled to Chad from Türkiye with the support of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) offered free health services to the citizens of Chad.
A medical team of 12 people traveled to Chad from Türkiye as part of the project “Friendly Aid to Health Project,” implemented by TİKA, the Dost Eli Association, and the Ministry of Health for Chad, and offered free health services to the citizens of Chad in Nama Hospital, located in the neighborhood of Ndjari in the 8th District, N'Djamena.
The health services offered from January 20-29, 2023, included 78 surgical operations, dental procedures for 1535 patients, ear, nose, and throat treatments for 952 patients, and health screenings on 957 citizens.
The Turkish medical team, who also circumcised 2862 boys, had a meeting with local institutions and the officials of the Ministry of Health for Chad at the end of the 8 days and discussed new health projects to be implemented in the country.
